Leopard roaming around residence in Valparai causes panic among locals
Coimbatore: Leopard movement is on the rise in Valparai of Coimbatore district.
Locals live in fear most of the time being aware of leopard movement at nights but are now in a state of panic after hearing that a leopard entered a residential compund in the Ayarpadi estate area near Valparai and left after drinking water in front of the house.
The CCTV footage of the leopard's movement went viral on social media adding to the panic already prevailing in the area. The public has demanded that the Forest Department quickly detect the movement of leopards and prevent them from entering residential areas.
