'No more power cuts in Tamil Nadu after completion of maintenance work:' TN Govt.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has reassured people that there will be no power cuts in all districts in Tamil Nadu after completion of maintenance work. A complete lockdown has been imposed in Tamil Nadu to curb the second wave of Covid-19, leaving people to cope with working from home as well as online classes for school and college students. Due to this, there was no power outage in Tamil Nadu for the last few days.
But in a few places, power had been cut off for maintenance work which began on June 19 and has now been completed. The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that only monthly maintenance work will be carried out and there will not be any more power cuts in the state.
The Government has instructed that public who visit the electricity board office should be treated with respect and has also ordered authorities to not delay the issuing of new power connections.
