The ICCIC sends a plea to Chief Minister M. K. Stalin requesting him to consider implementation of more lockdown relaxations for Coimbatore from 5 July

Coimbatore: Under the leadership of C. Balasubramanian, President of The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore (ICCIC), and its members, sent a request to M. K. Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, requesting him to consider implementation of more relaxations for Coimbatore from 5 July.


Coimbatore: Under the leadership of C. Balasubramanian, President of The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore (ICCIC), and its members, sent a request to M. K. Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, requesting him to consider implementation of more relaxations for Coimbatore from 5 July.

In a statement issued to the press, chamber President on behalf of its members appealed to the CM to permit all industries to function with 100% capacity, adhering to standard COVID protocols. It was also requested that the section of traders who were hither to not allowed to do business, are granted the permission to function with COVID guidelines. Allowing the public transport to operate with 50% capacity was another request that was also made.

The chamber members assured that COVID guidelines will be followed in the functioning of trade and industrial sectors. Thanking, the CM for introducing a slew of measures to bring down the spread of the corona virus in the state and in Coimbatore in particular, The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, and its members also placed on record their gratitude for the CM for announcing lockdown relaxations step by step in all the districts making category-wise.
