Coimbatore Court permitted to work with 50 percent staff
Coimbatore: Although Covid-19 cases in Coimbatore district are currently declining, the district is yet to bring the pandemic under control as compared to other districts. In other districts, Courts have allowed direct hearings in the lower courts. But in Coimbatore district, no relaxation during lockdown was allowed for conducting trials.
Coimbatore District Judge Shakthivel has issued a statement saying, 'The trial of the main cases will continue till July 4. New petitioners must provide relevant documents in the drop box in advance. About 50 percent of Court staff are allowed to work on a rotational basis.'
