Coimbatore: KG Hospital has provided treatment to about 5,000 covid patients in the last 15 months.
Patients were treated with liquid oxygen sourced from outside at KG Hospital during the last 4 months when there was a lack of oxygen.
It was then decided to have their an oxygen plant to serve the patients more effectively. A new Trident oxygen plant has now beeninstalled at KG Hospital at a cost of Rs 45 lakhs.
With the installation of this new oxygen plant all kinds of surgeries and intensive care treatment will be given to the needy patients at KG Hospital.
At present, two more liquid oxygen plants are operating at KG Hospital.
Chairman Dr. Bakthavathsalam inaugurated the New Oxygen Plant at KG Hospital on Monday 28.06.21 for the benefit of the patients.
Dr Ashok Bakthavathsalam, Managing Trustee of KG Hospital and Ms. Avanthika, CEO IT were participated in the function.
