Pollachi: Jamabandi was held online in Pollachi taluka due to Coronavirus pandemic. According to the Revenue Department, 44 petitions were received in two days.

It is customary for the Revenue Department to hold an annual grievance camp called Jamabandi to resolve public grievances. This year's Jamabandhi in Pollachi started yesterday. Due to the coronavirus epidemic this method of receiving petitions directly is not followed. Instead, petitions are being received online on behalf of the Revenue Department through e-service centers.

Apart from this, petitions are also being received through the complaint boxes in the Pollachi Governor's Office. During the meeting held under the chairmanship of Pollachi Sub Collector Maharaj, 44 petitions were received in two days, including old age allowance, widow's certificate and change of belt. Revenue officials said that these petitions will be investigated and resolved immediately.
