Patanjali Yoga Samiti celebrates 7th International Day of Yoga 2021 in 29 districts in Tamilnadu


Coimbatore: Tamilnadu Patanjali Yoga Samiti celebrated Yoga in 29 districts of Tamil Nadu. There were offline and online yoga classes to the benefit of yoga lovers and people fighting coronavirus during tough times.



Balsubramaniam,the President of Bharat Swabhiman Trust which is the administration wing of internationally acclaimed yog guru Swami Ramdev, Patanjali organisation said that in spite of restrictions people practiced yoga at home and through online greeting friends in 190 countries from Tamil Nadu.



Parasmul, the president of Tamil Nadu Patanjali yoga Samiti said that with the blessings of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Sree Balkrishnan and guidance from Central Coordinator Dr. Jaideep Arya from Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar from morning 5 am till eveningPatanjali yoga teachers were busy teaching and sharing their knowledge of yoga and pranayama. Also for people who could not make it due to Covid 19 restrictions an online yoga celebration was beamed with people participation.

Parasmul from Hosur, knows yoga shastra and is well versed in tamil too. Balsubramaniam, president of Bharat Swabhiman Trust coordinated with more than thousand Patanjali teachers and volunteers in Coimbatore. Kishore Jain who is in Tamilnadu Patanjali Media Cell and President was also busy teaching yoga and pranayama to common people. He said that the western Tamil Nadu is yoga conscious and there is yoga awareness. He said that yoga is for harmony, peace and wellness this year is the golden mantra as said by our PM Narendra Modi.

Abhijit Bose Ex- IAF warrant officer who had served in Sulur air force said that 190 countries world wide are practicing idy protocol right from 2015. He said that ourRishi Patanjali compiled yogashastra 3000 years ago and many of us are aware that ancient Tamil Nadu played a vital role in development of yoga practices, Indian yoga IDY protocol which is the same in all countries is followed in all countries which makes every indian proud.

Disha Taunk from Coimbatore said that yoga is now practised worldwide and made our country proud. Swami Ramdev and Chief central coordinator Dr Jaideep Arya congratulated the Tamilnadu Patanjali team for their social responsibility and to help reach yoga for wellness of mankind
