Senthilkumar, the shopkeeper of the government Tasmac store in Govindanur area near Pollachi, was informed that the lock was broken yesterday. He went to the shop and lodged a complaint at the Pollachi Vadakkipalayam police station.
In this case, the police, led by Sub-Inspector Rajendra Prasad, were searching for the persons involved in the attempted robbery. Today, Karuppusamy (26) and Vivek (26), both from Govindanur area, who were wandering around suspiciously near Vadakkipalayam area, were caught and interrogated. Following this, Vadakkipalayam police registered a case against the two and arrested them.
