Female construction worker killed after falling from two-wheeler near Kinathukadavu
Coimbatore: Veerasingam and his wife Panchavarnam (33) from Kamarajnagar, Sundarapuram, Coimbatore worked as construction workers.
The couple after finishing their construction work in the Kinathukadavu area on the 17th were going towards Sundarapuram on the Coimbatore road in a two wheeler. As he was passing near the fire station near Kinathukadavu, Panchavarnam, who was sitting in the back of the two-wheeler, unexpectedly stumbled and fell down.
Panchavarnam was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital by ambulance with serious head injuries and was admitted to the intensive care unit. Panchavarnam succumbed to his injuries last evening. Following this, the Kinathukadavu police went to the government hospital and sent Panchavarnam's body for autopsy. Kinathukadavu police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
