Worker in Coimbatore arrested for videotaping a woman bathing
Coimbatore: Coimbatore: Man was arrested for filming a woman taking a bath on his cell phone.
A 30-year-old woman from the Kalapatti area of Coimbatore lives with her husband and two children. She was a daily wage labourer. She was taking a bath in the bathroom in front of her house yesterday. Sasikumar, 37, a labourer from the same area, then videotaped her taking a bath on his cell phone.
The woman was shocked to see this and immediately made a noise and Sasikumar fled from there. The woman told her husband about it. The couple then went to Sasikumar's house and reprimanded him.
An argument broke out between them. Sasikumar was outraged and threatened to kill the woman and her husband. The woman then lodged a complaint with the Kovilpalayam police. Police filed a case and arrested Sasikumar. They also confiscated the cell phone and deleted the video.
