3 people including a couple killed as bike collides into a truck during the chase in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: A couple were riding a motorcycle near Coimbatore when other youths in the area who saw it chased after them on a motorcycle.
The couple were killed on the spot when the bike collided with the oncoming truck. The youth who chased died at the hospital as treatment failed. The incident has caused tragedy in the area. Ramakrishnan son of Chinraj is a labourer and lives in the KG Chavady, Kaliyapuram, Coimbatore district. He fell in love with a woman named Aishwarya who lives in the same area.
The couple were going towards Velanthavalam on a motorcycle. Siddique and Lingesan, from the same area, were following them on another motorcycle when a lorry collided head-on with two motorcycles. Ramakrishnan and Aishwarya were crushed to death on the spot in the accident.
The injured Lingesan and Siddiqui were rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for treatment. But, Lingesan died tragically as treatment failed. Police have registered a case and are searching for the lorry driver who escaped after the accident
