Viral video shows men apologising for Inebriated behaviour toward police and lauding them for their vigilant service
Coimbatore: Coimbatore: A video of three men in Coimbatore apologizing for their abusive behaviour toward police patrol officials in Sulur Kannampalayam area has gone viral on social media.
Police have been extensively patrolling the Sulur area of Coimbatore district due to lockdown. The officials spotted three inebriated men in Kannampalayam area on Friday night and instructed them to go home. The three men reportedly got into an argument with the police and screamed expletives at the police.
The men were then taken to the police station for interrogation and were identified as Jayaprakash, Deepak and Prakash from Kannampalayam area. During the interrogation, it was revealed that they had bought the liquor illegally for consumption. The police then filed a case against them.
The miscreants have since posted a video on a social networking site apologising for their abusive behaviour citing their inebriated condition and also accepted that it had been wrong to interfere with police's duty that night. They were also seen in the viral video commending the police for performing their duty diligently that night.
