Shops selling essentials reopen after 2 weeks: People flock to buy essentials
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government had declared a complete lockdown from the 10th to reduce the number of coronavirus infections in Tamil Nadu.
As the coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu are on the decline, 23 districts have been given some relief and another week of lockdown has been declared. The Tamil Nadu government has announced to open only grocery fruit and flower shops in 11severely infected districts from 6 am to 5 pm.
Thus, shops have been opened in Coimbatore districts since today.
After 2 weeks, the shops are open in Valparai area from 6 am including vegetable, fruit shop and flower shops. All other shops apart from this are closed.
