Increase in tea production, workers happy in Valparai


Coimbatore: Tea is cultivated in an area of about 50,000 acres in Valparai, Coimbatore district. The tea estates employ about 50,000 workers. Valparai has been receiving heavy rains for the last few days.



The tea plants also got the heat they needed during the day. Due to this, the tea plants grow well. Excessive leaves have also grown. As a result, workers in the tea estate have found more and more jobs in composting, spraying, and plucking, which has given workers joy.
