Sudhakar promoted as West Zone IG; Will take charge soon
Coimbatore: During the elections in Coimbatore, various officials, including City Commissioner Sumit Saran and District Collector Rajamani were abruptly transferred. Amidst this, Amalraj is currently West Zone IG.

Sudhakar who hails from Tirunelveli had been working as DIG in Madurai and has now been appointed as the new IG for Coimbatore West Zone. As the SP of Theni, he has worked in various Southern districts including Madurai, Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi and has been lauded by the public for being an honest police official.
