"Second wave of Coronavirus in Kinathukadavu affected 1,564 people; 905 discharged:" Health Department



Coimbatore: The second wave of Coronavirus which swept across Coimbatore district and spread rapidly across Kinathukadavu since last February had left over 60 fresh Covid-19 cases per day, in its wake, in Kinathukadavu area.

In the last few days, the Coronavirus infection rate in Kinathukadavu area had started declining. Health officials state that 37 people were confirmed to be infected with Covid-19 on a single day, on Wednesday. In total 1,564 people have been affected by Covid-19 with 905 recovering from the virus and returning home after receiving necessary treatment.
