Chief Minister MK Stalin meets coronavirus patients wearing PPE in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: As the second wave of coronavirus spreads rapidly in Tamil Nadu, the complete lockdown has been extended. Various preventive measures are being taken on behalf of the government.

In Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore ranks first among the cities with the highest number of cases, the government is taking wartime measures to control the spread of the disease.



Chief Minister MK Stalin, who arrived in Coimbatore today for a second time inspection, he inspected the ESI Hospital in Singanallur, Coimbatore, wearing a PPE in coronavirus ward.



He inquired about the treatment, facilities and food being provided to the patients being treated at the hospital.

There, he asked the doctors and nurses there about the facilities needed.



This was followed by the opening of the 50 Coronavirus Special Ambulance facility for the Coimbatore district.



The ambulance service will pick up those infected with the virus by contacting the control room set up on behalf of the Coimbatore Corporation if they need to come to the hospital.
