10 government buses operated from Valparai


Coimbatore: A complete lockdown is imposed from todayto prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. In turn, 10 government buses were operated yesterdayfrom Valparai. People were happy that buses were running yesterdayfrom the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation office in Valparai, Coimbatore district. 5 buses were operated on Pollachi route from 6 amand 5 buses to tea estate areas like Shekalmudi, Pudukkad, High Forest Mudis, Akkamalai in the estate areas.



Passengers on all buses are allowed to travel only with face masks and following social distancing as instructed by the bus operator. Transportation Association officials said buses operated until 9pm tonight.
