Coronavirus infection confirmed in 92 people in Pollachi: Health Department
Coimbatore: The number of people suffering from coronavirus infection is high in Coimbatore district next to Chennai in Tamil Nadu. In Pollachi, 15 people in urban areas, 9 in the North Union and 28 in the South Union were confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus making the total rise up to 92 in a single day.
Health officials are actively involved in preventive measures in the affected areas. They asked the public not to leave their homes during the complete lockdown as the spread of the disease continues to increase. They also urged the public to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing.
