Tirupur: The public in Tiruppur have alleged that private buses are overcharging as there are not enough government buses to go to neighbouring districts in Tirupur.
It was informed that buses will be operated to go to the neighboring districts today in the situation where a complete curfew will be implemented across Tamil Nadu from tomorrow. However, there are not enough buses running from Tirupur to neighboring districts including Erode.

The public were involved in quarrel with private bus drivers and operators, accusing them of charging more than the normal fare to take them to Erode district due to the inability of passengers to board government buses to Salem. They have demanded that the government run additional buses as they have been informed that the buses will run till tonight.
