Coimbatore: The demise of AIADMK District MGR Council Secretary Dada Khan due to Covid-19 has caused grief among party cadres in Pollachi.
Dada Khan (75) is from Pollachi area and was a senior AIADMK executive in Pollachi and the Secretary of the Coimbatore District MGR Council. He was admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore a few days ago due to ill health and was diagnosed with Covid-19. He was subsequently treated in the intensive care unit.
Even though there were signs of his health improving, doctors stated that he died suddenly on Thursday due to lack of oxygen in his body which led to suffocation.
