Long overdue maintenance work of clogged drainage system in Mettur done after petition filed by Mettur Youth Wing
Coimbatore: Residents of Nachimuthu Gounder Street in the 100th ward near Mettur have been complaining regarding the drainage system which has not been maintained for over two months.
A complaint was finally filed by the Mettur Youth Wing under the leadership of Kurichi Jagadeesan, Mettur Manikkam and G Saravanan.
In response to the petition filed, the Corporation took action to clean the drainage system with the help of sanitation workers who arrived at the location on Wednesday morning.
