Valparai Tahsildar fines shop owner who violated Covid-19 curfew

Essential items like milk, groceries and meat shops are allowed to operate from 6 am to 10 am during the curfew.

A complete lockdown has been imposed in Valparai, Coimbatore District and other areas to curb the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Essential items like milk, groceries and meat shops are allowed to operate from 6 am to 10 am.



Meanwhile Valparai Tahsildar earlier today received a tip about a vegetable shop which operated violating the Covid-19 pandemic guidelines. The Tahsildar who inspected the shop found the tip being true and ordered the shop owner to pay a fine of Rs 5000 and warned that the shop would be sealed the next time he was found doing business illegally.

Valparai Tahsildar then visited the Kadai Veedhi area and warned shopkeepers about violating Covid-19 guidelines.
