Public crowd to buy vegetables and meat without following social distancing
Coimbatore: The weekly market was held as usual on Sundayin the Valparai New Market area. The government had urged the public to follow the social distancing while shopping due to the increase in COVID-19. This morning, the public did not follow the social distancing and stood in a crowd and went home to buy vegetables, including meat and fish. As the complete lockdown will be enforced from Monday, the public rushed to buy essential items without any fear of coronavirus.
