POCSO Court in Coimbatore sentenced Mohammad Sabeer to 5 years in prison for his actions.

Mohammad Sabeer, (21) son of Ragamathullah of Anaimalai in Coimbatore district, allegedly posted a pornographic photo of a 13 year old girl from the area on social media. The girl's parents lodged a complaint with the Anaimalai police officials regarding the incident.
Late Anaimalai police conducted a serious investigation into the complaint and filed a case against Mohammad Sabeer under the POCSO Act.
He was then arrested on June 24, 2019. The case then came to trial at the POCSO Court in Coimbatore. After thorough hearings the Court came to a verdict and sentenced Mohammad Sabeer to 5 years in prison and a fine of Rs 6,000 for publishing the minors picture.
Police officials then took Mohammad Sabeer into custody.
