Chennai: Popular Tamil comedy actor Pandu passed away due to Covid complications in Chennai today.
The 74-year-old actor and his wife were recently tested positive for Covid-19 and were getting treated at a private hospital in Chennai. In an unfortunate turn of events, Pandu breathed his last on Thursday early hours. While his wife continues to be treated in the ICU.
The actor is survived by his wife and three sons - Prabhu, Panchu and Pintu. Not known to many, the actors apart from cinem is a very talented in designing name boards under the brand name "Capital leters" .He has designed name board for residences and offices of several personlaities. It is to be noted Pandu designed the flag of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
The Tamil film industry is mourning the sudden passing of actor Pandu. Several celebrities have expressed their condolences in social media ans twitter.
