AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswamy submits his resignation as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu saying that "AIADMK has not been successful enough in this election to form a Government"
Salem: The DMK is all set to form the Government after a thumping victory in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy submitted his resignation as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu through an officer from Salem saying that "AIADMK had not been successful enough in this election to form a Government." The Secretary to the Chief Minister will present the resignation letter to Governor Banwarilal Purohit, today.
Officials say that this resignation is a normal procedure since a new government is to be formed within a few days.
