Tirupur MP Subbarayan inspected the Tirupur Government General Hospital


Coimbatore: An additional oxygen storage tank has been set up at the Tirupur Government Hospital to treat patients as coronavirus infection is increasing day by day in Tirupur district. Tirupur MP Subramanian inspected the Government Hospital today.



He met Valli, Dean of Government Medical College and inquired about the facilities at the Government Hospital.



He then personally inspected the kitchen, oxygen center and vaccination site.



He was shocked to find a large amount of garbage dumped near the kitchen during the inspection and immediately telephoned the corporation commissioner to clean it up. He later told reporters that those who had already taken the first round of vaccination in Tirupur district are going to and for on a daily basis due to the lack of availability of vaccines. He accused that in the current situation, they announced aa asless statement that those above 18 years of age will be vaccinated from tomorrowwithout making any provisions for it.

He also said that there was a high level of lack of sanitation in the government hospital premises and ordered them to clean it immediately. He also said that a letter has been sent to the state health authorities urging them to make the necessary facilities available immediately at the Perundurai Government Hospitals in Tirupur district and the parliamentary constituency.
