Directorate instructs to submit details of teachers of those vaccinated.
Coimbatore: The list compiled school-wise of the teachers by age have been ordered to be vaccinated compulsorily. The second wave is spreading fast and the teachers and students attend school daily while students are on vacation. Complaints arose that the spread was high due to the influx of teachers coming to the school through public transport from different areas.
Many teachers in Coimbatore district have been affected and some have died. They also accused the collector of not taking action and demanded that teachers over the age of 45 are required to be vaccinated by the 30th of this month. Recipients are advised to submit the relevant certificate in case of doctor's recommendation. The Directorate has therefore directed the Headmasters to submit the details of the teachers who have been vaccinated on a school-by-school basis.
