Valparai police officials fine those not wearing helmets

A large number of two-wheelers are being used in Valparai, Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: A large number of two-wheelers are being used in Valparai, Coimbatore. Two-wheelers are being driven by youngsters and three or four people are traveling in the same vehicle.



In that, most of them are driving two-wheelers without helmets. As a way to increase the use of helmets, police sub inspector Murugaiya under the orders of Inspector Maheshwari were involved in a patrol duty checking the public who drive without following guidelines near the Gandhi Statue Bus Stand in Valparai.



Police Officials fined those who do not wear helmets and detained more than two passengers on two-wheelers. Cops say that the vehicles will be inspected until there is complete public awareness.
