Sheela Devi requested immediate action to clear the year-long issue of the stench emanating from neighbour's septic tank
Tirupur: Sheela Devi, a resident of Vettuvapalayam village in Tirupur district protested along with her kin and filed a petition with the Vettuvapalayam Panchayat Head and the District Collector seeking immediate action to provide a solution to the stench emanating from the septic tank belonging to another nearby resident named Saraswathi.
Sheela Devi initially protested at the Collectorate requesting immediate action to the year-long issue which could lead to a health hazard in the neighbourhood. She complained that authorities had not heeded her earlier complaints.
Police officials who were on duty at the Collectorate immediately took her to the District Collector to file a petition.
