Permission denied for devotees to enter Gopalsamy Hill near Pollachi

The forest department and the temple administration have refused to allow devotees to visit the Angalakurichi Gopalsamy hill near Pollachi, Coimbatore.

The forest department and the temple administration have refused to allow devotees to visit the Angalakurichi Gopalsamy hill near Pollachi, Coimbatore.

Gopalsamy Hill near Angalakurichi is visited by a large number of devotees on Saturdays every week. The temple administration and the forest department have announced that devotees will be denied permission to go to Gopalsamy hill near Angalakurichi following the orders by the Tamil Nadu Government to control the Covid-19 spread.



Forest department officials have set up barricades at the entrance of the temple and banned devotees from entering the premises.

A notice board has been put up on behalf of the temple committee and the forest department in this regard.

They have requested all the devotees to co-operate with them till further notice.
