Case filed on a individual who violated auction rules on a house in Coimbatore

Manivannan, a resident of Othakalmandapam area in Coimbatore had taken a home loan of Rs 34 lakh in 2017.

Manivannan, a resident of the Othakalmandapam area in Coimbatore had taken a home loan of Rs 34 lakh in 2017 from REPCO Housing Credit Company operating in the Hosur Road area and had agreed to pay Rs 56,000 in monthly installments.

As Manivannan refused to pay the instalments properly, the company confiscated the property and decided to put it up for auction. In this situation, officials led by the bank's regional manager Selva Kumaraswamy went to Manivannan's house yesterday.

During that, it was revealed that the house which was locked by the bank management was broken and Manivannan was inside. Following this, Zonal bank manager Senthil Kumaraswamy had a dispute with Manivannan and his wife Anandi, Ranjith Kumar had a dispute.

Those who were nearby informed the police as they were talking inappropriate words to each other. Manivannan and his wife Anandi and Ranjith Kumar are being prosecuted following a complaint lodged by bank manager Selva Kumaraswamy.
