The session took place today following all Covid-19 protocols.
The Nilgiris: 'The World Book Day' is celebrated every year on April 23rd across the globe. On behalf of The Nilgiri District Central Library, a request was made to conduct a book reading session in every village from 4.30 to 5.30 pm following social distancing and other Covid-19 guidelines in The Nilgiris district.
On receiving permission, the book reading session was conducted at the Thotoor Thathanad Hut in Kotagiri, The Nilgiris.
College students Shri Vasavi and Pavithra successfully organised this book reading session to help create awareness regarding book reading among the public.
