Coimbatore: Karumalai Shri Balaji Temple in Valparai, Coimbatore usually has visitors from across towns. A huge number of devotees arrive at the temple in both 2 and 4 wheelers to seek blessings.

But due to the rise in the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the temple board has made an announcement to close the temple premises for devotees since April 15th until further notice.

The temple committee has also requested the public to refrain from coming to the temple amid the surge in Covid-19 cases.
