Federation of Trade Association decide to close Business establishments by 7 pm from Wednesday

This is to control the covid-19 spread in the Coimbatore city.


Coimbatore: Considering the rapid increase in the Covid second wave, the Federation of Trade Association has decided to close business establishments by 7:00 pm.

Association President S. Balasubramaniam said, "There are more than 3,000 members in our association, considering the rapid increase in the covid second wave, we conducted an urgent zoom meeting. Participants discussed various measures to be taken by the trading community in containing the spread of the pandemic further."

He announced that the members have unanimously decided to close business establishments by 7:00 pm every day starting Wednesday.

"Members were also requested to send appeals to their respective associations immediately requesting them to adhere to this request and close their business establishments by 7:00 pm," Balasubramaniam said.
