Coimbatore: Though the Tamil Nadu Government has clamped night curfew and announced complete lockdown on Sunday, train and airline passengers as well as those travelling due to medical emergencies at night can travel unhindered according to City Police Commissioner, S Davidson Devasirvatham
"Curfew will be imposed across Tamil Nadu including Coimbatore district, from tonight, which will come into effect from 10 pm to 4 am. Checkposts will be closed to vehicles and public, with a complete lockdown enforced on Sundays.
But airline and train passengers, and those going for medical emergencies will be exempted from the curfew and lockdown but they must produce their travel ticket to police during inspection," stated the City Police Commissioner.
