Two youth belonging to Hindu Munnani party arrested in Coimbatore for shattering bus windshield

During investigation of the bus windshield breaking incident, it was revealed that Rahul (19) and Rajendran (20) from Selvapuram were college students belonging to the Hindu Munnani party.


Coimbatore: A private bus on its way to Selvapuram in Coimbatore on Sunday was suddenly stopped by two youth who began pelting stones at the windshield of the bus and shattering it into pieces.



Following this, the driver lodged a complaint at the Selvapuram police station, after which the Selvapuram police registered a case and are on a man-hunt for the two youth.

During the investigation, the police traced Rahul (19) and Rajendran (20) from Selvapuram and discovered that they were college students belonging to the Hindu Munnani party. On further investigation, the two youth confessed that they had shattered the bus windshield, after which they were arrested and sent to prison.
