Thirumavalavan is politicizing the death of Actor Vivek: BJP State President L. Murugan

Coimbatore: BJP state president L Murugan said at a press conference in Palladam that Thol Thirumavalavan was politicizing the death of actor Vivek and accused that the opposition leader MK Stalin has been staying in Kodaikanal irresponsibly.

BJP district executive council meeting was held at Palladam in Tirupur district under the chairmanship of party state president L Murugan. Murugan told reporters that the second wave of Coronavirus was spreading rapidly in Tamil Nadu and therefore the public should cooperate to control the second wave by following the procedures laid by the government. He also said that the death of actor Vivek was sad and that the loss of social enthusiast like actor Vivek is distressing for Tamil Nadu.

He added that Thirumavalavan was making death of actor Vivek into a political issue and that he himself had been vaccinated twice. He criticized him saying those in public life should behave responsibly. When asked about the spread of controversial comments on Vivek's death on social media, L. Murugan said millions across the country have been vaccinated.

He also added that on the day actor Vivek was vaccinated, 800 other people were vaccinated including the country's prime minister and key leaders and hence asked not to believe false propaganda.
