Daily wage labourer commits suicide due to alcoholc depression near Pollachi
Coimbatore: Sundarajan, a daily wage labourer from Negamam, Avalappampatti near Pollachi committed suicide due to alcoholic depression. He is survived by his wife Muthulakshmi and two sons.
Sundarajan reportedly became an alcoholic who drank daily which caused his wife and sons to leave him five years ago. Owing to depression, Sundarajan committed suicide by hanging himself at his home on Thursday.
After neighbours informed the police, his body was recovered by the police and sent to the Pollachi Government Hospital for autopsy. The police are further investigating.
