Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 4,176 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,91,839 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 58,097.
Among districts, Chennai led with 2,558 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 534 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 95,387 today, totalling to 2,08,79,495 getting examined till date.
