Govt. bus crushes 16 goats to death in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: 16 goats were crushed to death when a Government bus ran over cattle in Mathampalayam near Periyanaickenpalayam.
Dhanapal from Mathampalayam who owns a farm and Velusamy who works for him left a pasture at 7 pm on Tuesday night, and were leading the cattle towards the farm.
A government bus reportedly rammed into the cattle which were trying to cross the Mettupalayam Road near Mathampalayam. 16 goats were crushed to death. The Periyanaickenpalayam police are investigating the incident and enquiring with the government bus driver Sivakumar in this connection.
