A video of Inspector Ganesh attacking bakery owner in times of no Covid-19 restrictions is trending on social media.
Coimbatore police inspector was transferred after a video of him attacking public eating in a restaurant in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore viral. A complaint was filed with the Coimbatore District Collector to arrest the police officer. Hence the Human Rights Commission has volunteered itself to the case and has asked the City Police Commissioner to give an explanation for this incident.
At the same time, another video is now trending were a police officer was seen violently attacking and dragging a bakery owner.
In 29th March around 10.30 pm when Covid-19 restrictions were not enforced, SI Ganesh from Kuniyamuthur Police Station was seen attackinyand dragging a bakery owner near Kuniyamuthur Government Higher Secondary School.
With permissions given to run bakery till 11 pm, police official Ganesh was seen attacking the bakery owner around 10.30 pm. Public have urged the officials to take proper actions against such officers.
