Special meeting of industry organizations to be convened in Coimbatore today to discuss ways to curb hike in raw material prices
Coimbatore: A special meeting is being convened today in Coimbatore on behalf of industry organizations to help tackle the problem of steady hike in raw material prices.
The meeting will convene at 6 pm today at 'Co-India,' near Thomas Park, Race Course and will be attended by representatives of various industry organizations including Coimbatore District Small Industries Association, Coimbatore Tirupur District Micro Enterprises and Rural Entrepreneurs Association.
Various important issues will be discussed at the meeting which will include dealing with the problem of rising raw material prices, whether it would be possible to procure raw materials in bulk and segregate them into 'MSME' enterprises and other ways to highlight the issue with the Central and State Governments.
