Flying Squadron Officials confiscated Rs 55.05 crore worth cash and other items in 37 days

Along with that 2 video surveillance teams are working on a 12 hour shift in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: Around 9 teams including officers from election expenses monitoring team and flying squadron officials are involved in patrolling duty in rotational basis 24/7.

Along with that 2 video surveillance teams are working on a 12 hour shift. Every team has an officer who is above the grade of Deputy Tahsildar, 1 Sub Inspector, 2 police officials and 1 videographer.

During the checkings that took place from March 1st till April 6th officials have confiscated cash worth about Rs 7.36 crores. Coimbatore officials have seized Rs 56.05 crores worth jewels, cash, alcohol bottles, etc in total
