Coimbatore: The Coimbatore BJP party members have posted a video on their Facebook page saying that they will not vote for any party that does not respect Hinduism and women.

A group of women were seen taking an oath at the Thandumariamman Temple premises to vote against political parties that do not respect the Hindu religion and women. This video was shared by Coimbatore BJP's Facebook Page.

In the viral video, women can be seen taking part in the lamp pooja which was followed by an oath-taking ceremony, made a promise on their family deities, favourite god, Agni, and on the deity of Thandumariamman to vote against the party and their alliance parties who are against the Hindu Religion, parties which disrespect women who we think as god's and the parties which disrespect women.

Women who took part in the oath-taking ceremony repeated the stances after the temple priest chanted it.

On further investigations near Thandumariamman Temple in Avinashi Road, it was revealed that the temple from the video is not situated in Avinashi Road. Since there are a lot of Thandumariamman Temples in the Kongu Region, this ceremony could have happened anywhere.

This video is virally shared across social media platforms, ahead of polling day tomorrow.
