Passer-by and neighbours near the Nanjundapuram pond last evening informed the Vadavalli and Selvapuram police stations about dead corpses floating in the pond.
Two policemen who arrived at the scene recovered the bodies with the help of fire and rescue department officials. Later, the bodies were sent to the government hospital for autopsy.
The police officials are investigating details about the two youths. This incident has caused panic in the area.
