A banana research center will be set up at Mettupalayam: DMK leader MK Stalin in The Nilgiris
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore and The Nilgiris districts, DMK leader MK Stalin participated in campaigns to support DMK candidates.
He campaigned near the Mettupalayam bus stand in support of Ooty Congress candidate Ganesan, Gudalur DMK candidate Kasi Lingam, Coonoor DMK candidate Ramachandran and Mettupalayam DMK candidate DR Shanmugasundaram.
Then DMK leader MK Stalin said, "The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is campaigning in a helicopter. Did the same Chief Minister visit the Nilgiris by helicopter? But I visited and Rs. 10 crores was given on behalf of the DMK. I have a right to ask you to vote in the rising sun symbol. The Gudalur constituency candidate Kasi Lingam should be made to win."
MK Stalin also spoke about the exit poll results. "The elections are approaching in a week and in all the opinion polls, the DMK alliance is projected to win. The ruling party has intimidated the TV channels when it claimed that the DMK would win and the government also cut the cable. When I first campaigned, I was confident of securing victory in 200 constituencies. Looking at the status now, it is hoped that we will win in all 234 constituencies. It is also despicable that the Chief Minister released a Whatsapp video regarding the criticism," he added.
Speaking at the crowd, MK Stalin also accused the government of failing people. He said, "People know very well that this government robbed everything, this is a corrupt government that attacked during the Jallikkattu struggle. This government even led government employees to protest. Pollachi is a witness to this bad government. Prime Minister Modi says women are not protected in the DMK regime. The incident in Pollachi should make you think about it. More than 400 women have been sexually abused.
This happened under the AIADMK regime. Prime Minister Modi should know this. DMK won the parliamentary election with a landslide victory. Only the son of an AIADMK MP OPS won and he is a BJP MP. So not a single AIADMK MLA should win this election. If they win, they will act as BJP MLAs.
MK Stalin also asked Prime Minister Modi to visit AIIMS hospital when he arrives in Madurai. "The foundation stone was taken away. We will oppose CAA, NEET and all three agriculture laws. We will also ask the Prime Minister about the release of the seven. Palanisamy Government offered 7.5 per cent reservation for government school students. The central government has filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court against it.
We must defeat the Chief Minister who does not have the courage to make such a decision. Inflation has skyrocketed under the AIADMK regime. DMK has released an election manifesto for the development of Tamil Nadu to control prices," he said to the people.

Government Arts College in Coonoor, Construction Development Support for Green Tea and the government hospital will be modernized under DMK. Tourism will be improved and various projects like this will be implemented."
DMK leader MK Stalin also guaranteed to set up a Banana Research Center in the Mettupalayam region and the Government Medical Land will be modernized. He urged that, "DMK must win to protect state rights and self-respect."
