DMK alleges illegal cash for vote being distributed via Gpay in the Thondamuthur constituency

With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections coming up on April 6th the Election Commission is taking steps to prevent the distribution of cash and gifts to voters.

However, DMK candidate from Thondamuthur constituency Karthikeya Sivasenapathy has continued to accuse Minister SP Velumani's team of transferring money to voters through G-Pay (Google Pay).



Accordingly, the DMK members today handed over a man to the police who tried to obtain information including their photo, phone number and bank accounts from the people living in the Telugupalayam area in the Thondamuthur Constituency.

In the paper confiscated from them officials found the phone numbers of women and men voters. There was a high buzz in the area as police and flying squad officials arrived in the locality.
