A total of 141 ex-servicemen underwent six weeks of advanced military training at the Coonoor Wellington Army Training Center in The Nilgiris District.
The Nilgiris: For the first time in The Nilgiris, special training was given to ex-servicemen at the Coonoor Wellington Army Center along with an appreciation ceremony on Wednesday.
A total of 141 ex-servicemen underwent 6 weeks of advanced military training at the Coonoor Wellington Army Training Center in The Nilgiris District. This was the first of its kind to be conducted at this Army training center.
Commander Rajeshwar Singh, head of the Army Training Center, administered the oath of office. Performances were held and they ensured to follow social distancing due to Covid-19 pandemic guidelines.
Speaking on the occasion, the Brigadier lauded the Madras Regiment for providing quality training to the soldiers and the hard training of the ex-servicemen.
